We went fishing at Disney last year. Bay lake is the biggest and has the most spots for Fishing. We are going again Next Week! We are definitely going back to Bay lake and
we are requesting Dan From Apple Valley Ohio. We had him last year and he was simply AWESOME. My Dad Fishes A LOT and Dan and him really hit it off.
The guide will help you as much as you would like to be helped, which includes baiting your hook and releasing the fish if you don't want to get your hands "fishy"
When you request someone specific they can't guarantee that you will get him as they won't tell you what his work schedule is. That's private information. They just make a note of the request on your reservation. We have booked the 7 am, four hour fishing charter and we are leaving from the Contemporary.
The cost for 4 hours is $455.00 and it's worth every penny.
The cost for the 2 hour trip is $270.00
Up to 5 people can come on the boat. Your guide will bring the beverages (soda/water No Alcohol). You are also not allowed to bring food on the boat. All the gear and bait is also included.
We caught and released SO MANY large mouth bass last year that we just had to do it again. This will be the highlight of our trip for sure!
The number to call to book this trip is 1 407 939 7529 (Disney Recreation). Definitely book the trip ahead of time. The trip can be cancelled because of bad weather but you have to call Disney as it is their decision whether to cancel due to weather concerns. Call that number for more information if you have any more questions.
What are you waiting for? Make that call!! Fishing at Walt Disney World is an AWESOME experience!!
