fishing at WL

We will be at WL during Thanksgiving, my DS 10 loves to fish, the problem is I don't know that we want to get a guide for 2 hours. Do they rent poles for dock or bank fishing, or could you bring your own stuff?

I'm pretty sure you can only fish from the boat at WL.
