Fishing at POR

Are guests allowed to bring their own fishing poles to use at POR? If so, any suggestions as to how to bring a collapsable graphite rod and reel on a plane?

I don't think so. They give you a cane pole. If you take one of the fishing trips I am sure you could use your own rod. Those fishing trips are a little of the expensive side. Disney is also catch and release.
