Fishing at POR?

I know they have a stocked fishing hole at POR and you can rent cane poles for fishing. Does anyone know if you can bring your own fishing pole and just buy bait?

My DS and DH rented cane poles and bait for around $4 each about 2 years ago. Not sure about bringing your own poles. I'd call if you really want to know. Have fun.

Fishing is my DS favorite thing to do. Go figure. He has really enjoyed the Kids Fishing Excursions. They were just for children. The cost was about $30 for 1.5 hours. My DS caught a 2.7 lbs. fish. He was thrilled.
