Fishing at POP Century...?

I read on the POP century FAQ thread that fishing is allowed there. Has anyone had any experience with that? Do they supply the rod? Can you bring your own? What about a fishing license? How do I explain to DW that this may be a fishing trip after all?

From what I understand, it would be "catch and release" and you have to bring your own equipment. You are allowed to fish anywhere around the lake at POP, but not from the bridge.
I have read that there are fishing excursions offered from other parts of WDW that you may be more interested in. I believe these have to booked in advance though.
Hopefully some one will be able to offer you more info.
