Fishing at DW

My teenage son loves to fish and is not 100% happy that our summer vacation will be at DW instead of a 7 day fishing trip. Is there anywhere for him to fish? He likes to fish for bass. I know that Disney has some sort of fishing trip but it is pretty expensive.

It may be pricey, but he will likely catch some massive bass. We gave DD that excursion for her bday and it was worth every cent! Maybe you could also squeeze in cane pole fishing at POR one day too.

He can fish at Fort Wilderness.

If he's an avid fisherman, he might not enjoy the cane pole fishing that much. My 6 year old daughter loved it, but the fish she caught were pretty small.

Also realize that all Disney World fishing is catch and release.
