We are the only group gifters that I know of.

the four of us travelling together (me, mom, dad and my cousin) are doing our gifts together too. We are doing two separate gifts- so really it is one gift from each of our cabins, but we are crafting them all together to get them done and will distribute together too. We already have special separate gifts for kids too.

Hey Jen!

I know you have done a lot of work, but on the final FE list it would be helpful to know in each cabin who is and is not family. I was hoping to make things a bit more personal and if there are people (like me) who are traveling with friends, I would like to make sure I make enough gifts for each cabin. I would like to do something special for the kiddos as well. Kids are easy... teenagers are another story, LOL.

This doesn't generally happen. However, it is also possible that other people will get upgraded at the last minute (I got a call last Friday for someone sailing on Saturday). What we have done in the past is have either one person per floor or one person in a centrally located room post a list on their door of changes to room numbers. That way no one gets missed.

When we were on the Panama Canal cruise we were delivering to 150 plus rooms. There were a couple changes which you could even tell just going by the room. The original room had no FE or anything so it was obvious they weren't part of the group. The coordinator had noted on her door the new room number.

What I did was if there were 2 people in the room and both were participating, I have them on the list twice with each screen name. For example, shellyminnie & tiggerbell are on there twice, just like you and Tammy are on twice. But Todd's roomate isn't participating, so only Todd (jeanigor) is on the list.

I'm part of the group gift, but we are going to do something for the kids, too. I think my girls will enjoy doing that.

We are doing something for the kids as well as somthing for each cabin.
If there are people sharing that are not in the same family but sharing a cabin we will be leaving two cabin gifts.

Excitement is building

I found a great deal on what I wanted to get the kiddies.. I'm so excited.

Then.. I had an idea for part of the 'cabin' gift and lo and behold.. another deal.

This means.. I still have room in my budget for something else fun.

I really wish I could bring some 'sweet' treat but I just don't think it will be possible for it to get to Fla. safely.. meaning I think they will melt. Since we are arriving a few days before I just don't know how to manage this. If I mail it ahead of time I still think they would melt.

If there is another family that would want to combine gifts and then split up the delivery I'm all for that. Msg me off list.

I'm getting really excited now, I can't wait to go and buy the bits for my gifts

And also a few more bits to decoate by FE I ordered some patches on line to give that Disney touch as I wanted to use material I already had (just scraps lying around)

I think I have decided on my design. I think I am only going to make 2 pockets and make them a little bit bigger. I have a 50% coupon that starts tomorrow, so I am going to go an get some other stuff. I am ready to get started.
