Fish Extenders for the Podcast Cruise

I've got one of my gifts designed...just need to finish them up. But i'm waiting until I know how many cabins will be participating before I finish that one up.

And then I picked up a little something at Target one day that I thought would be kind of fun...but i'll only have enough for one per cabin. So you'll have to fight over it...lol

We have two adults and a little girl.

We will be making something for each room, we just have to wait until we know how many to make.

You can hang up just about anything....as long as it'll hang on the fish. You can also buy them on eBay. Just search 'fish extender'. This is what I'm gonna do. I love gradysmommy's work (Just amazing!). Totally worth the money if ya ask me.

No. I think that sounds about right according to some of the threads on the Cruise Boards. (As long as I am converting metric to standard in my head correctly, that's about 9" by 24", right?)
In my searches for fish extender ideas I've seen pics of:

• Some shorter (mostly with two pockets)

• Some longer (as many as six pockets)

• Christmas Stockings

• Box Purses

I think the important thing is that you are happy with it.
There isn't a set blueprint. What fun would that be? Have fun. Be creative. Express yourself. Just make sure it has a pocket so I can drop you off a fishy pressie.

I would share my ideas with you, but every time my cruise partner and I discuss the FE....we have creative differences that end in slammed doors and long bouts of silence. But once we have something I will share it.
Speaking of sharing, I need to find the PodCast Door Magnet Thread...Namine came up with something this afternoon....

I used an LL Bean 'boating' bag - one with a long handle. I had bought it at the outlet store and a friend had already embroidered Mickey on it. So for the cruise I had her add my name - so it didn't walk off. It worked well. I didn't realize that some of the FE's are not all that wide and what I made to give out didn't fit in a lot of them, so keep the stuff small.

I know that Froggy is too busy with IMPORTANT STUFF like school to do an update right now, but has anyone counted up the number of staterooms, including those who aren't on the list yet? I'm trying to get an estimate of how many of something I'd have to create to do one per cabin and thought I'd save myself the trouble if someone else had done the math to this point.

I haven't counted, but I have been waiting on an update. I know I added two staterooms that aren't on the list yet. It is better to just make something for each stateroom instead of something for each person? I know I could spend a little more if it was one per stateroom.

I think it depends on the gift. Somethings are more appropriate as stateroom pressies, some individual. I don't think we have any "set rules or regulations". Just as I have heard some people give gifts everyday, others just one for the cruise. I think I've said it a few pages back....Just have fun!



Last Time I counted I think there were 33 staterooms on the list and 95-97 people, including children. (wow that's almost a third of all the podcast cruisers!!!!)
