fish extender gift giving etiquette

Anyone have any good ideas where I can find an inexpensive FE? I sure wish the Dollar Store would sell them!

I bought this Xmas stocking off eBay and embellished it. I hung it up with a ribbon. It worked great! I think it worked better than the pocket ones because it had more room for bulkier/heavier gifts. Plus the gifts could be down inside the stocking instead of sticking out where people could see them. Unfortunately, we did have a problem with some people's gifts being stolen!

A gift that we got on our WB that I haven't seen mentioned was a music CD. We actually got 2 different ones--that was a neat gift and not that costly to make.

Are those pins or magnets u made? And where did u get it from? I want to do something personalized for our cruise in Oct 09 but need ideas where. I am also making something that represents my state. Can't tell though cause it's a year away. LOL

That is a great idea. We will be going at Christmas time, it wouldn't be too forward to hang a stocking from our fish hanger would it.

There are 4 of us, but I can tie them onto a nautical rope with bows or something.

Keep you eye out...I have a couple of "3 pouch shoe trees" with Mickey from the dollar store. They often have those mesh bags with the draw strings and Disney characters that I think would work well too!

Each group does it a bit different. Like Annie we've had a sign up and a cut off date to give people a chance to make/buy their gifts. Here is what our fish extender looked like one morning last years Member Cruise.

I have this same one with Pooh and i love it...E bay has them for $1.00 but they are charging $8.00 shipping, still $9.00 total isn't bad

You need to go to the cruise meets thread for your cruise and find out if they are still allowing people to sign up. It is getting close and the cut off is usually at least a few weeks before the cruise.

I'm not crafty but there are others that are and will sell you FE's on a website called Esty. Just search Disney Cruise and they will show you FE's and other things
