Fish Extender gift cost???

We ordered some pirate things and customized pencils from Oriental Trading. I think the pencils were about 14.95 to customize with the name of the ship and the date for I think 50 pencils. I also made magnets for everyone with their names for their doors, just in case they didn't have any. It was nice walking down the hall seeing the magnets on everyones doors.

How did you make the magnets? Sounds like a great idea!

I went to the creative disigns thread on the main board, and someone had blanks of the name tags. I downloaded them and just added names. I used a Walt Disney font, which you can download free from several sites on the internet. I did shrink the size a bit so I could fit 8 on each sheet of magnetic paper, then printed them from my computer. Unfortunately that was over a year ago, and I'm not sure who I got the name tags off of. If you start a thread on the Creative Disigns board asking for blank nametags, trust me, some wonderful person there will point you in the right direction!

Just as an FYI... target's dollar spot is at 50% off right now.. they have Disney princess, high school musical and Madagascar stuff all for .50 each.. .they will be going to 75% off soon.. so it will be a quarter... I stock up and then don't feel guilty on how much I spend.

How much did you approximately spend on your fish extender gifts? I'm trying to decide what to get without going over board. My husband thinks $3 - $4 per child is a good amount. Our adult gifts are per cabin, not per adult. So far I've spent about $100 (including the adults). Is that too much?

We are doing gifts to put in random people's FE our next cruise and we are just going to do one gift per cabin for as maany gifts we bring in our suitcase. We are trying to keep the cost down so we are making some of our FE gifts but we also bought some. Today we were at the store and we bought pre-packaged lollipops to give as FE gifts. It is really up to you! Have fun on your cruise what ever you decide to do for FE gifts!

All others-- I just finished our FE gifts for our upcoming cruise. We are doing 1 gift for the adults... Its a Flash drive loaded with digital frames that people can add to their photos and it holds 2gb of memory which could be used to back up and save cruise photos. The memory sticks were $2.25 each including shipping. I designed the digital frames(free) and I printed cards ( photo below) to attach to the stick at Office Max. I'd say about $2.75 for the adult gift.



Kids gifts I'm still working on but will be between $1-2/child
