How do you think the crowds and temperatures will be the first week of September (weekdays like Mon 8/31- Thurs 9/3, BEFORE Labor Day weekend)? Are most local schools back in session by then?

Some will be, but some won't.

That's a great time to go to DL. Some of the schools will be in session starting mid-August. Going Monday through Thursday is perfect. We always try to stay away from the weekend.

FYI, there is a special going on through September 30th at the DLR properties. We got the DL hotel for $149.00.

We'll have a 2 year old, 4 year old and 6 year old with us so we won't be standing in the big ride lines but we'll have to have a couple strollers so we don't want to be fighting against packed crowds all day. Thanks for the info!
