I have been in May(middle of the month) before and it was hot and crowded!!LOL I'm use to Nov. weather and crowds, so I've been spoiled. Anyway I am thinking of taking a trip in May for the great swimming weather and to get more use out of the AP's I'll be buying for our Nov trip. So, is the first week of May crowded? What other time of year would you compare it too? Will spring breakers be gone? Are you going at this time, why did you choose it? Any help would be appreciated. I would like to book it soon since I am within my 11 month window for DVC.
Thanks!

We took our first May trip this year (May 6 - May 13) and it was fabulous. Crowds were not bad at all and the weather was perfect - no rain. I would definetely do it again. We have APs too, so we did 1/2 day pool, 1/2 day park. Epcot was beautiful,as they had their flower and garden expo.

Enjoy!

We went this past May 1-8 for the first time. We thought it was awesome the weather was a little chilly but the crowds were great. The weekends were a bit busy but would do this time again. Next time we are trying end of Nov beginning of Dec to see the christmas decorations.

We were there May 8-14 and it was wonderful... Perfect swimming and park weather, not real humid. It only rained one evening for about 2 hours while we had dinner. I really didn't think the parks were all that busy. Our longest wait was 20 mins. We booked another May trip for 2006 and I'm am hoping for another perfect week.

Thanks for the replies.
I forgot about the F&G festival!! I remember that and it was so beautiful at Epcot. I just can't stand crowds so I think I would the beginning of May might be better than when we went last time. We would be in the parks all the time. We want to enjoy the resort too.

kWe are planning on going May 1 for about 8 days. The past 2 years we have always gone the last week of April, but with Easter being so late this year, & us wanting to wait for Easter crowds to be gone, we are going in May. Last year, it actually was a little chilly in the mornings, & once the sun went down, it was chilly i the evenings. We walked around the Magic Kingdom one evening looking for a place that sold LONG sleeved t-shirts & couldn't find any. My son was cold so we had to go back to the resort & couldn't stay for EMH. Otherwise, weather was great!!

One thing I just saw yesterday - Grad Nights next year will be 4/28, 4/29, 5/5, 5/6. So that means MK will close at 7:00pm on those nights with no Spectro or Wishes.

Thank you...now I'm rethinking that we may go the following week after that. Thanks!!!
