Hello guys,

I'm going to Magic Kingdom and HS on the first week of march. I have two questions. Do you have any idea on the crowds on that week? and second, what day do you think is better for MK, Sunday March 1st or Monday March 2nd?.

If it makes any difference, I am staying on a Disney Springs Hotel.

Thank you in advance! :D

I think crowds will be pretty manageable. It's the week after Mardi Gras, should avoid most spring break crowds, and is after the marathon weekends. As for which day to visit MK, I'd wait for all the park hours to be announced before I'd feel comfortable speculating. There is early morning magic at MK on Sunday the 1st, but that doesn't tend to impact park crowds too much.

I don't think it matters what day you visit each park- that should be a great time to visit as it falls between Mardi Gras and Spring Break in 2020! WDW is always busy now but the crowds should be very manageable that week and the weather should be pretty nice.

I was there 2/25 - 3/5 this year (2019) and everything was moderately crowded - probably 5 out of 10. We did all of the parks throughout the week, most multiple times. I will say that we did MK on Sunday 3/3 and the crowd that day was much higher than when we were there earlier in the week. That day was closer to an 8 out of 10.

We were there the first week in March this year. I thought it was still crowded. Not Christmas or Easter crowded but still crowded.

Sunday and Monday are the slowest days for MK. March is busy but not super-busy. Either is fine.

Mardi Gras was the first week of March this year, so I’d expect 2020 to be at least a little bit lighter crowd compared to the same time this year.

I was there the first full week of March in 2017. There were some days that felt more crowded than others, but overall they were very manageable. The longest rides we waited for were about 45 minutes each (HM & RNRC). Everything else was less than 20 minutes.

We will be there 2/25 to 3/4 next MarchFeb. This will be our 3 rd visit in March; we usually stay the whole first week of March, but things worked out differently this year for us.
We did not feel it was overcrowded at all. We loved the weather and were lucky to have 60 to 70's both times. I think Sunday or Monday are showing as best days for the MK this next March. Check some online calenders for their crowd charts.
I think you will like this time of year. We changed from first 2 weeks of November or the 2nd week of December to March and will not go back.

I’ll be there that same time, just getting in the prior Friday. Still debating which park to attempt that Saturday the 29th since I’m told that’ll be the worst day.
Since we booked Touring Plans lowered their crowd levels for the whole first week.

Our first trip in 2014 was March 1-7. We felt crowds were super manageable and the weather was awesome. Depending on when Easter falls, we wouldn't hesitate to go that time of year again.

We'll be there that week as well. Hoping the crowds will be manageable. Good luck to us!

We will also be there March 2-6. We are making our full day Magic Kingdom that Thursday the 5th, but only because it is our last day. I really don't think there will be that much difference in crowds for either MK or HS between Monday and Tuesday, so pick the order you prefer. We all should have fun!

Nice! Thank you so much for all the replies, your info is very helpful for my planning :).

Monday March 2nd has a hard ticket after hours event at the MK. Tuesday the 3rd, has a DVC event at the MK.

Hi! Does anyone know if the dvc event will impact crowd levels or park hours?
TIA!
