If you went the first week of February, how did you like it?
The weather? The crowds? Etc. Thanks :scratchin

I'm going next year at that time.

Weather is nice. A bit cool in the AM and at night, but nice afternoons. Crowds don't get much lower than that time of year.

I've been twice then 2002 and 2003. Just about every ride was a walk on and fast pass machines were mostly not in use to give you an idea of the crowds. Some places like counter service still get busy at busy times of the day etc. Weather wise we didn't wear coats once either trip and just had jeans/tshirts. It did get warm enough to swim from time to time but it was never overly hot/humid but it was very comfortable to be spending the day outside. It did rain a little here/there but nothing major. Of course leaving Boston that time of year almost any weather is an improvement.

We have been in late January-early February on many occasions as DH attends a conference held in Orlando every year in that time frame. Crowds are very light during the week and pickup somewhat Friday-Sunday. Weather has run the gamut from chilly (needing long pants and a sweater during the day and a warmer jacket at night) to warm (shorts, sandals and go to the water parks). It can and does change daily. I always pack clothing that I can layer or shed depending on what the weather does from day to day. Frankly it is one of my favorite times to go because the waits, even for the most popular attractions are generally minimal- at most 15-20 minutes on Splash Mountain for example. Sometimes, it is so light, you don't even need to use FassPass.

ITA with the other posters! I like going this time of year (we usually do the last week of Jan./first week of Feb. If you like comfortable weather and low crowds, as I do, you will love it.

Hi Muchi,

I have to point out one thing about the February weather in Orlando: it is unpredictable! I'm very happy that the previous posters had good weather but you can't count on it.

February weather is not only unpredictable, but changeable. You could have days near 80 with cool mornings. But you could also have mornings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s. So you'll need to be prepared for both, since both could happen in the week you are there.

We are going 28th Jan - 12th Feb 2006. We chose this time because we couldn't cope with the hot Florida weather and hate crowds. Coming from the UK I am sure the weather will be great for us!!! :sunny:

Yes, this is true. I do remember having a couple of days where we needed jackets while there during that time. I personally love touring Disney in that kind of weather. But you should definitely pack some warm clothes and jackets, just in case.
