First Week of December Weather?

Been to WDW during the last week of November first week of December before and early morning and late night a light weight sweatshirt was all we needed. Being from Maine the weather for us, even if it is only 60 degrees some days, is absolutely wonderful!

This will be our third WDW December trip and we have definitely had everything from high 80s to low 40s (colder overnight). Lots of layers. I usually wear jeans the entire trip and layer as needed up top. DH likes to wear shorts when on vacation, so he tries to power through until it gets too cold, lol.

Also, it can (and most likely will) rain and that can be more of an issue that it is in the summer since the temps don't heat right back up to cool you off. Instead, you just stay cold. We watched the Candlelight Processional in the rain one year and then proceeded to both get head colds for the remainder of the trip. Oops!

We went early December in 2014 and it was cold! I think it broke into the 60s once. We had a balcony over the Boardwalk that we were determined to use so we bundled up, opened the French doors and cranked up the room heat.

I checked during the same time last year and it was in the 80s.

As others have said, I'd wait as long as possible to pack. We were there a few years ago first week of December and one night at EPCOT froze our butts of at the Candlelight Processional when it dipped into the low 30's at night. Other days were nice.

We went the middle of December last year and it was in the 80's most of the time. It was so hot! We wore jeans and sweatshirts on the plane so we had those with us. I also packed festive sweaters for the Christmas Party so we could take card pictures. We would put them on for pictures and rip them right off. Lol. I agree with others. Wait until last minute forecasts and be flexible. Enjoy every minute!
