First week of April BOOKED

Just got back a nice check from taxes and a surprise check back from escrow so DH and I decided to try and take a quick trip the week before Easter (M-F). Just called...all DVC is booked...and so is every hotel on the grounds!!

Oh well for us it was just an added bonus but just wanted to let anybody know who was thinking about it...

No surprise here either. I tried to add on at VB for the 1st week of April at the 5 month mark and could not. It was full too!!

It is Spring Break at all the schools around us.

That's also the week the PGA tourament takes place in Sea Pines---the entire island gets very busy.

keep calling, we decided about the end of Jan. to try for easter week,
well with some luck, we ended up with ssr studio for the entire week after a few waitlists, then a waitlist came in for OKW/BCV. good luck! and dont forget you about asking MS about a cash discount, i think i was quoted $269.00 OKW studio for a weekend night for easter.

Glad I'm not the only one that makes last minute plans! Seems like every year we say, "Nope, not going this spring break....can't afford it....yada yada yada....." then we wind up deciding to go at the last minute. This year we are trying now for the week after Easter. Nothing is available then either! Course I have to rent points too, 'cause we already have an Oct trip planned, so that makes it a double pain!

At least that's one positive for us...but unfortunately not for LIGrumpyGirl. LIGrumpy Girl I'm still holding out hope for you if you decide to keep trying!

I booked All Star Sports as a backup.....I just don't know if we can go through with that or not. SO used to my one bedroom I might pull my hair out with two kids in those little rooms(once at the asm I leaned over from the bed to lock the door at night!those rooms are SMALL!)

I have a chance to rent from a Hilton Grand Vacation member but just don't know if we'll feel "right" being outside the magic.
