What tent sale??? Could you tell me about this??

Thanks

Do a google search for Belz Outlet Mall Orlando and check the special events page. They do this in the Spring and Fall every year. I don't have my notes handy, but I believe the Fall one starts 10/14.

Some years we do better than others, but we always find some treasures. Last year I bought my DS11 several adult XS Hard Rock Cafe shirts for $2.99 each. He loves wearing them. Disney always has a big area full of stuff at great prices. Many of the other outlets participate.

Universal used to set up a WONDERFUL area with lots of stuff to put in the birthday box, but they've been missing the last few years. I think I've still got a few yo-yos left from the year they sold the expensive trick models for a dime each!

Ok....I have a question for for the experts......My son and I are traveling together I recieved my Happiest celebration personal id tags today. Are these suppose to go on each bag??? They only sent me 2 tags and I'm planning on having 3 or 4 bags. I'm planning on taking 2 bags for myself and at least one for my son. I'm not sure if I should call disney and request 2 more tags. How many DME tags will they send me????

Thanks in advance!!!!

We will be at POP October 3-13th (split stay @ OKW 10/3-10/7), with MNSSHP on the 6th! Our trip is paid for, MNSSHP tickets bought & received, have confirmed seats on United for our trip down, rental car ressie, and Disney Dollars for the kids...we are SET!!! And I Can't Wait!!! Less than 40 days until we go....I'm starting to dance right now!!! :cool1:  :cheer2: :bounce:  :Pinkbounc

If I am understanding this looks like you will be at POP from the 7-the 13th . If this is right then didn't you loose the free dining for that portion of your trip. We tried to do this and were told that a split stay had to be booked as two seperate reservations and the second half of ours also would have fallen outside of the Oct 4 check in date. Im upset If I was able to do this and was told I could not, guess I should have known to call back until you get the answer you want :rotfl: So we decided that we wanted the food more than the split stay.

Like Rissa'sMom, I too am taking my daughter for a surprise trip to Disney and she has no idea -- although I almost blew it the other morning. I'm making a dorothy costume for her to wear to MNSSHP #2 and I asked her to try on the red sparkly shoes -- told her they had to be comfortable for walking around Disney, then I quickly corrected myself and said, I mean walking around the neighborhood! Oops! :)

Anyway, we'll be there 9/29-10/3 on the Dining plan. Can't wait!!!

Kate

We'll be at POP! This is our second time staying there, my DD loved it so much the first time, we're surprising her for her birthday with a quickie weekend trip. Looks like there are a lot of us celebrating birthdays this month!

10/7 Chef Mickey's (Dinner~and I'm not letting the recent reviews bother me!)
10/8 MGM and Sci-Fi
10/9 Rainforest Cafe

Foladar-I also booked POP at rack rate, hoping and waiting for Fl. resident codes!

Rissa'sMom- Love, love , love your Mickey Head! Very cute!

Hope we'll see some of you at POP!

Hi guys! I will be at POP 10/1-10/7. 10/7 incidentally is my 10th wedding anniversary. Travelling with my son (5) and wife. None of us have ever been to Disney and I'm ready for travel. Unlike a lot of the posters here, I (the male) am making all the plans and research for the trip, so I will probably ask a million and one questions of you all if you have the time to respond.

At this point, we have not gotten all the plans in concrete, but I was wondering about the resort. Both of us grew up in the 80's and thought it would be a great place to relive those high school years. Is there a certain part/side of the 80's building I should request?

And by the way, MollyBelle, I am a true blue Duke fan and you are not alone when you feel like you're hated by most of the world.

Thanx, I got the idea from the tee-shirt design thread. One of the wonderful people on there posted the lime green Mickey heads ::MickeyMo and I just added the Disney icons that relate to our particular trip. :) I know a lot of people who are going are planning on having lime green Mickey head in their room windows. Join us! (oh btw - some printers (mine included) won't print lime green :confused3 )

Dawsonsdad9401-Welcome to The Dis! You will love POP! This board has a wealth of information and will help you tremendously with all of your planning! Go to the top of page 1 on the resorts board and open the thread called WDW Resort FAQ and Information. Scroll down to the thread about POP. It has tons of info. Also, not sure if you know about allearsnet dot com but it also has lots of info and pics on all of the resorts too. Hope you have a magical vacation and enjoy planning your trip! :wizard:

Rissa's Mom- If I can get the creative juices flowing, I'll try to come up with something for our window. I know I'll need to do something, just not quite sure yet what to do. Your decorations definately inspired me though~thx! :goodvibes

count us in ...we will be there sept 30 thru oct 9....

Hoping to go Oct 5th - 8th at Pop Century, but unsure what FL Resident rates will be :confused3

FL. Residents rates are out today. Unfortunately they had no discounts available at POP for our dates of 10/7 - 10/9. I hope you will have better luck. We will have to pay the rack rate now of 99.00 a night but we're just happy to be going. The FL. resident rate would have been 84.00 a night if available so it's only a 15.00 difference, nothing to lose any sleep over! ;)

Is school out or is everybody homeschooling or are the kids just missing school ? I wouldn't expect to see that many kids there during the school year ?

We are FL. residents and just going for the weekend. It sure does make me wonder too how so many of the hotels are nearing capacity during a month that is typically a school month. It sure does make you wonder, doesn't it???

We will be there the 4th-11th. Had to do the free dining!
As far as kids out of school. My DD's get their fall break the first two weeks in Oct. :paw:

We get out the week of Columbus Day for Fall break. When free dining came along, we decided to pull the kids out of school 3 1/2 days and go down early.
