Any experience with the first week of June at Universal? Pulling DS out of school early -- hoping a head start will help! Also, just realized it's Gay week, which typically boosts crowds at Disney--any impact on Universal crowds from this??

Thanks for any replies!!!

We'll be there 6/3 - 6/5 staying @ HRH - i'll be anxious to hear how this affects Universal also, if any. We were at Disney back in 1999 for that first week in June and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

the first week of June isn't too bad at all. it's busier than the first two weeks of May, but quite manageable. lllikens, you don't need to worry, you're staying onsite so you'll be using the EP lines the whole time.

We were there last year, going a week earlier this year to use our passes before they expire, but I did not think it was bad at all, hardly waited more than 15 minutes for anything, but it was rainny and I was comparing it to Disney because it was our first visit.

We went again the 3rd weekend in June and I still didn't think it was that bad, but we got there before the parks opened. Here's a link to that trip

Hope this helps, have fun planning!

Thanks for the replies. We went in July of 2004, we waited over 1.5 hours for Spiderman and just about the same for Shrek. So, your experiences are very encouraging!!

they've since opened a second theater for Shrek, and it's really helped with wait times. but July is bad no matter what.
