Howdy from Central Texas. We are planning our Feb 2015 trip. My husband and I have been to Disneyland many times. This will be the first time to Disney World. This will also be our daughter's first ever Disney Vacation. My husband is military and one Christmas Disney gave us a free trip to Disney Land. We took our son but our girls were still way to young.
I was wondering if anyone has ever camped the first week of Feb. Wondering about the weather. Camping is our favorite family past time.
We would be tent camping. Thank you in advance for any replies.

February can be a mixed bag on weather.

I have been to the Fort in February twice (Valentine's week) and once in early March. "Typical" weather will be nice. 70'ish during the day with lows in the 50s. Unfortunately late winter can have some big swings. One February trip it was above average on temps. Beautiful! (I hate cold weather) The 2nd time was cold 40s at night with highs only in the 60s. That still isn't terrible, but I hate the cold and 40s were not fun for me. The March trip was last year for spring break. The weather was "typical". It was nice during the day and jacket weather early morning and evening. Pretty good for camping.

Thank you. My husbands work takes him to Florida a lot but he stays in hotels. Much different experience. :) We were debating getting some sort of ac for the tent. We can pick one up for a real good price around here. Just wondering if that is worth it or not.

IMO you wont need AC in early Feb.:beach:

No A/C in February. You *may* need a heater (yes you read that right). :goodvibes You just never know. Our latest winter freeze if we get one is usually in February or very early March. Our earliest fall freeze as I can recall is about November-Thanksgiving.

February is a great time to camp here!

We will also be enjoying the weather at the Fort in February. As others have said, it can be a mixed bag. As Edna Mode says "luck favors the prepared"
