First Visit to Pop

Hi All! I'm considering my first visit to Pop for a surprise trip in August. I'm recovering from major ankle surgery, so although I will be walking by then, I may need to rent an ECV. Would anyone with experience please let me know if they would recommend this resort. Also, which area would you believe best for me? Thanks for your help!

go over to the disability board - in her sticky she listed several in the Orlando area.

Thanks for the advice. I actually wanted to know if this particular resort would be a good choice for someone with mobility issues?

definitely!!!

It is as close to flat as any of the WDW resorts. I have pushed mother around every corner of it in a wheelchair.

the elevators are in the middle of the building - behind the BIG ICONS.

tell her to find what her icon is and just look for that.

Big Tramp, Lady, MickeyMouse Phone, there are so many I can't remember.

oh there will be other people here in ECV or wheelchairs - so sometimes she won't be able to ride the bus. if there are 2 people waiting in wheelchairs or ECV - she will just have to wait for the next one.

Thanks SpiceyCat! We've never visited Pop so I have been looking at the pics on the boards and it looks like a fun spot.
