First visit to Disneyland... what to expect

This December will be our first trip to Disneyland. We are going on cruise 12/18 and are debating a few days at the land. We have always gone to WDW for Christmas and I am honestly nervous about going to Disneyland and don't know what to expect.

Any information would be great if you can share your experiences.

We, too, are pondering a trip to DL after having been to WDW...holy cow - that thread is SO informative! Thanks for posting.
