Bon voyage and don't forget to take your passport along with your email AP to the office :goodvibes

Hi Ms Shuttergirl :wave2:

With Promoparcs, I did a dummy run for buying tickets before I signed up, to make sure it would work before I forked out the 14 euros or whatever it was. At that stage they were happy to send to Australia. Unfortunately we ran out of money before I got around to actually purchasing the tickets, and by the time I got back on, the option to ship to Australia had disappeared! I just sent Promoparcs an email outlining my situation and they were very helpful. Got back to me within the day and had it all sorted out in a couple of days. There was a bit of to and fro, but they were patient and happy to help. They just got me to enter one of the countries available for postage and select the email option. They also asked for the names for all the passes and whether I wanted any free kids ones, and they were emailed the next day. No postage costs and very quick and easy :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for this detailed information Zanzibar, that is so helpful. I will email them now and will report back on how i go, hopefully it is a similarly smooth experience.

It sure is! I leave tomorrow! :dance3:

Have the most fabulous time and yes it would be great to hear about how you get finalising the APs at the parks. That's the part that has me a little nervous but I'm sure it will be all smooth sailing with Disney running the show.

Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy!!!!!!

If I could prey on your amazing knowledge and precious time for just a bit longer....

How do you think we should best run our very limited 3 days.

This is what I know we would like to see/do:-

BBWWS
Annette's for a meal
Inventions character meal - probably
The Cinemagique??? (excuse my spelling)
The Animagique??? (excuse my spelling)
Fireworks
Any great parades that are not miss

We are kind of the "fraidy family" so like to stick to the more medium rides like Pirates, is there a Big Thunder Mountain Railroad equiv as that's our fave, we like competing in shoot em up style games like Buzz and Toy STory if there is something like that.

I doubt we will get back to DLP for many years so I would like to see lots of the parks but with that said, after a month of travelling I think we need to keep the pace medium rather than commando .

Any help you can give with a touring plan would be so gratefully appreciated. :)

I'm not a planner, I just roll with it, so I'm not going to be brillant here. I also avoid characters like the plague :rotfl:

Like I said somewhere ^^ BTM (Big Thunder Mountain) is a bit different in Paris and is a great ride, Phantom Manor again has a different story line and should be done. Even our POTC is different.

If you get an AP you can get the EMH so from 8-10 am you will be able to walk around and soak up the different details of the park in Fantasyland, all the things that set it apart from the others.

It's at this time than you can do rides like Peter Pan and Dumbo if you want as the rest of the day they get very busy and for PP it's not rare to get a FP only for several hours later.

You can also do Buzz during the EMH - that's the only shoot at targets ride there is.

The Toy story rides at DLP - Slinky Dog, Parachute Drop and RC Racer are in the Studios.

There will be one parade per day in each park - The Stars and Cars in the Studios is missable so if you don't have time don't worry.

The Magic On Parade is on in the main park at either 5pm or 7 pm depending on what time the park will be open but that you will know nearer the time

At closing every night you have Dreams which is a laser show with low fireworks, imagery and fountains .

Sunday will be your worse day crowd wise - so you could plan on spending most of your time doing the shows like Cinémagique et Animagique rather than queuing for rides.

BTM and Buzz are FP rides so make the most of that if you wish to do several times during your stay.

Hth a bit and I'm sure you'll have one of the uber planners along to give their thoughts and tips :goodvibes

Thanks so much Carrie. That really helps me get a feel for how to run things. Thanks for the advice re Sunday, we will definitely do more of the non ride things that day.

Great run down of the rides and parades etc. Thank you again, you are so generous.

Carrie Cat - one last question. I'd like to say forever but I'll just promise for today :rotfl2:.

I've purchased the annual passes from promoparc and they are sending them to me. So do I take them to the ticket office at Disneyland Paris along with our passports to get new ones, do we need to produce anything else? Where is the ticket office located? Left hand side/right hand side? Inside park, outside park?

I'm back! And reporting on the procedure for getting the APs finalised as promised :thumbsup2

The AP office is located on the right hand side of the castle as you are walking down Main Street, kind of between the castle and the entrance to Discoveryland. You just need to take your print-outs and passports for everyone. It seemed to be a little bit chaotic when we first went in, but there was someone going along the line making sure everyone was in the right place. There was a desk for English speaking guests where they did ours, it was on the right hand side of the office. Once we got to the desk, it probably took about 10 minutes for all 3 of us to be processed. Make sure people are ready for photos - I forgot to remind Mum and she was a bit put out because she didn't have time to do her hair :rotfl:

The milder sort of rides seemed to have the long queues when we were there, and it was supposed to be a quiet time! We saw upwards of 65 minutes wait for BTM, and Buzz never got below 30 minutes. Peter Pan had a long wait as always. Make good use of fastpasses for those ones. Mum (who is a wuss with rides) also enjoyed Phantom Manor which never seemed to have a very long queue. The other rides she did were Autopia and IASW. Cinemagique and Animagique are well worth checking out :thumbsup2 But if you only have time for one I would go with Cinemagique.

Whatever you do, don't miss Dreams!

Wow, thank you soooooo much for sharing all of this detail. It will really make it so much easier when we get there.

I just have one question, how did you get through the gates to up near the castle without already having the AP's in hand? Do you just show the email receipt at the gates?

No worries. It was a bit confusing for us, so I thought I'd help you out as much as I could! You just show your emails at the gates (the emails should have barcodes on them and they just scan that).
