So, my boyfriend and I are going to WDW in May :lovestruc and I thought I'd be an amazingly sweet girlfriend and make him a "yay its your first visit" box with little things to get him excited to go. I just got back from WDW a week ago and I picked up a "First Visit" button, a set of the Muppets pins, and a "Real Men Wear Mickey Ears" t-shirt... does anyone have any ideas of other little things to put in the box?
Thanks in advance! :worship:

What a super cute idea!

Autograph book
Moleskins
Fan mister if going in hot weather
Map of park

Have a blast!

Lanyard
Custom T-Shirt (designs can be made/personalized on the "Creative DISigns" Thread)
Personalized Magnets (Personalized with above thread)
Countdown chain or calendar

We always make a box like this, too.

Ours includes:

*Disney Gift Cards
*Bandaids
*Travel Size toiletries
*Mini-M&M's containers- 1 filled with quarters (for toll booths and laundry) and 1 filled with quarters and pennies (for pressed penny machines)
*Tip Envelopes decorated with Disney stickers for Southwest curbside check-in folks, Mousekeeping, and DME drivers, pre-filled with a couple $1's and colored Disney picture :goodvibes
*2 packs of AA batteries
*Hand sanitizer
*Snacks (that aren't perishable until after the trip :) )
*...and anything else I pick up along the way!

If you want the guy to stick around, I suggest NOT including the autograph book...

To add to the map suggestion, Disney will send you free customized maps that look awesome and would be fun to include. It takes a couple of weeks to get them, so don't wait too long.

You would know if your boyfriend would like this b/c it's kind of cute and not practical, but the other thing I would suggest would be to make some coupons for the "have to have" snack things when you get there. (Mickey ice cream bar, drinks around the world, Casey's hotdog, dole whip, cheese stuffed pretzel).

I hope you guys have a great trip!

Are you flying or driving? I fly frequently for work, so I have my in flight routine down, but my fiance does not. Getting him some magazines, a book about Disney, etc. can help keep him entertained on the journey.

DBF is actually excited to get pics with characters :lovestruc.. but I wouldn't say autographs lol..
I actually picked up a pair of Mickey flip flops today to add to the box (with a note that says "to be worn at Pop Century only".
We're driving down from Michigan, so no flight stuff is needed. But I love the gift card idea and the little treats! He LOVES chocolate so I'll have to throw some M&Ms in there (his fav).

Thanks for all the ideas so far! Keep 'em coming! I picked up a box today at Michaels that I'm decorating with Disney stuff so it will all have a nice home for him. :)

I LOVE this idea!!! Especially since he only knows what he's looked up on wdwinfo and in the unofficial book he got (plus what I've told him).
Thanks!!
