My friend and I are taking our 3 year-old to Disney in August. My daughter has been several times, but it is her daughter's first visit. I would like to put together a little first timer bag. We bought matching shirts for the girls and hair bows, but other than that I am stumped for ideas. I do know that we will have strollers and we will probably need a distraction or two while in the lines. Any ideas?

I've made a few --our local dollar store is great for making gift bags
here is a few of the things I put in them

bubbles- dollar store---great or long waits in line
Disney towel or face cloths -sears--helps keep stroller dry in a heat wave
glow braclets -dollar store
sunblock lotion
wipes
Disney candies --shrek m&ms,,gummies
magic wand --dollar store

also visit the Dis design thread--great creative people there.(personalized invites ,stroller tags etc).

Have a great time planning

sunglasses
autograph books/pens
misting fans
Disney or animal picture books?

disposable kids camera

sun hats

umbrella --that snaps onto stroller-provides much needed shade

Plastic Disney sippy cups and straws

lanyard --with clip on toys

still thinking

DD always gets a Disney book! Dollar Tree has often had reprints of the classics (Peter Pan, etc). And stickers. Can never have too many stickers! Those come from Dollar Tree or Walmart.

I think a fan would be good - Disney Store has sometimes had paper fans (OK, chipboard cutout fans). We also have mini personal fans - one is a fan/light, the other is fan/mister (DD5 still struggles with the mister part being too hard).

My personal experience - when I first started taking DD (at 3.5) to Disney I lugged toys (bubbles, flash cards, invisible ink books) for waiting in lines and never used them. Now I'm downsized - fans and games of I-Spy get us through most lines. And snacks. I find DD needs more to eat/drink so she'll often snack her way through a wait.

Thanks everyone! I am looking for something that will clip in the stroller so my friend's daughter won't lose it. My daughter has been a zillion times to DL and she doesn't seem to need the extra diversions, but I will keep looking for fun stuff to add.
