Hi! I'm going for my first ever visit to WDW next year (April/May 2016) we'll be 3adults and we'll be staying at the Old Key West Resort in a 1 bedroom villa (we aren't family so we wanted a little more space) we have booked with disneyholidays.co.uk and have the free dining plan during our stay.

I'm from Belgium, and have an annual pass for Disneyland Paris since thats only 4 hours from my home. Does anyone have any suggestions for me what I really need to to, and what I can skip (if it's the same as in Paris for example) ?

Is there anything special to do in that time period?

We'll also be visiting the universal studios and sea world for a couple of days, we're flying in to Sanford with Arkefly from Amsterdam, and we're renting a car for the duration of our visit.

I have not been to DL Paris (maybe someday) but have heard it's very similar but not exactly the same. I would suggest looking at a park map on line and seeing what attractions are the same so that you may either by-pass them or do them if you can't get on/into something you don't have. Of course, Epcot/Animal Kingdom and HS are not there at all but I would still check those park maps too as some of the rides in those parks have been incorporated into others through out the other DL parks.
If you are renting a car and you haven't pre-ordered groceries, you'll want to stop and get water, alcohol (if wanted) or any food items you'd like to have in your room. Publix, Walmart or Super Target all are close to where you will be and it will save you $ in the long run even with the dining plan.
I would say the biggest time I can give is relax. Don't try to fit it all in. Enjoy the resort as it is a lovely resort with great amenities.
I haven't been to US in over 20 years (I don't do thrill rides well and that's almost all they have there) so I can't comment on anything there to do specifically. Sea World is fun but to me, it is a one day or less park.
Downtown Disney or Disney Springs is a must for at least on evening and I would highly recommend Cirque de Soliel.

Have a good time.

Yeah I'm already looking for things I want to do... I'm scared for overplanning... and then again I'm scared that I don't plan enough if you get what I mean :) We were already planning to stop at Walmart (I've heard so much about it in movies and show I want to see it :p and my friend has been in the US before so she suggested it )
