Please share any suggestions to make the most of our first VGF stay in May! We stayed at GF once pre-kids but it's been a while. Our kids will be 9, 6, and 3.5. Also curious approx how far the walk from the DVC building is to Poly Grand Ceremonial House and to TTC. Thanks!!

VGF is a wonderful resort, and its close proximity to the main GF resort puts all of the activities, restaurants, sights, and conveniences in easy reach. For my money, I'd book a breakfast or dinner at 1900 Park Fare as over the years it has secured a deserved reputation for superb character interaction. At breakfast, you could meet the Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins, Tigger, and Winnie the Pooh. The breakfast selections are plentiful and largely well-prepared. For dinner, you'll usually get Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and her two daughters, and sometimes the Fairy Godmother. While we don't find the buffet quite as good as the breakfast one, it's still above average food for a buffet at WDW. The walk to the Poly from the Villas building is approximately 10-12 minutes at a brisk pace. Depending on factors such as your pace with kids and sights along the way (we saw alligator tracks leading to and from the lagoon on one of our walks), your time will vary. If you plan to dine at the Poly, I'd allow at least 15-20 minutes to get there. Enjoy your stay!

Thank you!! We are so excited! Any special programs/hidden Mickey searches, movies/campfires, or anything like that at GF?

Our kids are grown, so we haven't had to explore such venues, but I believe they have a wide range of activities. Here's a link: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/grand-floridian-resort-and-spa/recreation/

Beyond that, there is a VGF Lovers thread on the DVC Resorts sub-forum where someone better qualified might be able to answer your questions. :thumbsup2
