Hi Hon
I am going to edit this by saying I am just a mom,Nana and have been playing around for a few years with Paint.net--by no means am I a pro at this stuff.
I love the idea of including your daughters picture in the DISign,it makes it
so much more special.
Just an idea
what about a border.
When i'm looking for backgrounds for autograph pages I usually look for a light color as the signature show up better. I don't know yet how to do a faded horizontal circle or oval but I am trying to teach myself. I use just paint.net.
Here are a couple of backgrounds I use for frozen
This one already has a border
This one is plain but elegant
My current Favorite snow background
google, snowflake png
add a couple of accents

Consider smaller font and center over image
remember if binding pages you will lose left side area.
