My family is making its first trip to WDW. There will bed three adult people in the party. Mom, dad and my brother.

They are still deciding which resort to stay at.

Do you think that three adults would enjoy a weeklong November stay at CBR?

They would prefer some place quiet.

POR is a great resort for 3 adults, my husband and I have taken my sister with us and we had plenty of room. As for quiet yes it is, and we stay in AB usally building 14 wich is right near the food court and the main bus stop. The grounds are quite nice for enjoying a leisurely walk, plus they can take a very nice boat ride to DD wich IMO is a lot better than the bus.

What about the cabins at Ft Wilderness? It is nice and quiet there and the extra room would be a big plus!! We loved our stay there!

We have enjoyed our stays at CBR; but depends on what they are looking for in a resort. It is a larger resort; but we find it peaceful and relaxing. We have stayed there in August and July; and will be returning this December. We never had a problem with noise in our rooms. We did have children and a baby next door to us; but we never heard a peep out of them.

CBR has a very tropical feel to it. If that is something they would enjoy this is the place to go aside from the POLY. Have always wanted to try POR or a deluxe; but that will be a good excuse to go back!

I have come to learn that it is a matter of personal taste and preference. For every person that likes a resort there will always be someone else that doesn't. All you can do is decide for yourself what is best or right for you.

Good Luck! Hope they enjoy their trip!

Thank you for the replies.
I think I meant for this to go under the CBR FAQ's but hey this works too.

Size of hotel rooms is not of importance. They will be staying in a resort because my brother really wants to. (My parents would be content in a Marriott or a motel 6.) He really wants to be near epcot or the monorail.

My friend stayed at CBR but it was 10 years ago.

Being from Seattle I want to try the Wilderness Lodge if I ever get to go to WDW.

They will be getting a rental car to go visit a relative near Tampa but they may only get the rental for that one day instead of having it the whole time. If staying in a resort a rental car isn't needed (easier) to get to the different parks is it?

For EPCOT deluxe resorts for adults you can't do any better than BWI, or YC/BC they are so convenient. (Swan/Dolphen) are in same area and usually have very good rates and specials.
(walking distances for all five of these resorts)

No you don't need a car to get around Disney..I park my car when we get there and don't see it again until we are leaving.

I reccommend a one bedroom villa. OKW is great for the quiet, break from you vacation feeling. The 1bdrm will afford you all some privacy, by putting your brother in the living room and closing the bedroom door. Plus with a full kitchen you can offset the price of the room with the expense of meals. If you still cant justify the expense, the head over to the DVC rent/trade board and see about renting the points.
