We've been to Disney World with the KIDS, and we've been back when they were adults, but this time we are going ALONE. Does anybody have any "not to miss" ideas. We're staying at the BoardWalk Villas (we rented someones points). Now that the time is almost here (11/15) I'm getting nervous--like what will we do all by ourselves!!!

Rest, relax, and enjoy. I know the two of you will figure it out.
Have loads of fun,
Byrd

The DW and I just went down in Sept, we had a blast! the restauruants in Epcot are great for 2. And just winging it to anywhere is great. You will be surprized at how much you can accomplish.

Try slowly working your way around Epcot at night. Almost all the countries have free entertainment at night and Epcot has a much softer "feel" at night. Then maybe stay for Illuminations since you're staying nearby you can walk back to your room and not have to fight to get on a bus. Have fun!

WOW, your gonna have a great time! there is a wonderful, romantic restaurant at the contemporay.."the california grill", if you can get a ps around the time of the fireworks over the castle it is just beautiful. they dim the lights and pipe in the music. also, look into taking a carraige ride from fort wilderness. and yes, just strolling around epcot and the boardwalk is very romantic and relaxing.
i know i've seen a book out there too...disney w/o kids...check the library. it's full of great ideas.
HAVE A GREAT TIME!

My last two trips have been without kids, and it had been almost 25 years since my previous trip. We had a blast. We had such a good time that we added a few days to our "family trip" this year so that we can have some kid-free time after my son and his family go back home. That's our time to tour World Showcase at night, to relax and see the parks at our own pace, and to act like kids ourselves!
