Hey everyone!
I am new to walt disney world trip planning!...and this is going to be my first trip to orlando!.
I am planning a two week trip next August with my mum as a suprise Christmas present.

I've been searching around various travel agents ect online, and found thomas cook has the best deal for flights, hotel and car hire.
I'm looking to stay in the grand floridian.

So i'm just looking for some advice on what i need to do when it comes to planning and if anyone has travelled with thomas cook to orlando before?.

Thanks everyone :goodvibes

Have you thought about park tickets. Personally found Orlando Ticket Deals really good, real tickets not vouchers, maybe you will need to make some dining reservations (ADR's) you can find out on here all about the restaurants, there's the photopass, maybe a trip off site to Seaworld, Universal, Discovery Cove. There really is a lot to take in but at least you have come to the right place. Just keep reading relevant threads you have got plenty of time to find out loads.

Thanks for the info!:thumbsup2
Yes i was wondering about the park tickets, i was going to buy the disney ones on there website, but might have a look on that site. :)

Yes the dinning reservations, how do u make them?

The benefit with ordering through Orlando Ticket Deals is I've paid 20% deposit and they guarantee them at £175 (14 day ultimate ticket - they priced matched Disney for me, but it is now showing on their site for the same price), if they are any cheaper by the time you pay the balance you get them even cheaper but if they go up you are still guaranteed to be charged the price quoted ie £175 (have I explained that OK!)

ADR's are made by called Disney at about 12 noon (7am Florida time) on 001 407 3463. Decide where you want to eat and then ring no earlier than 180 days beforehand (as you are staying on site you can book for the first 10 days of your holiday) some restaurants are easier to book than others but you won't be able to book until next February so you have plenty of time to sort that out.

Really don't want to swamp you with information too soon but you are welcome to ask me as much as you want, the forums I've joined made a real difference to the quality of our holiday last year. Have you also looked at the Dibb, another brilliant forum. Feel free to ask away anything.

Thanks v. much for the info :goodvibes
I was wondering if u book the park tickets direct on the disney site, are they sent to u straight away?, or do u have to pick them up when u get there?
