Hey everyone on Disboards! Im new to this forum and I wanted to post to get tips and thoughts of everyone.
My wife, child (Age 9), and I just booked our WDW trip for this June! Less than 60 days away, we are going on June 7th and staying until June 21st. We bought the 10 day base tickets for WDW and 3 day base tickets for Universal Studios. I am doing all the planning with notifying my wife of any changes or updates to the plans :). So far we have dinner reservations for every night of our trip, we are waiting for our tickets to arrive, we ordered from Undercover Tourist. Any tips for planning and things we should know when we arrive to WDW? Thanks :)

Happy Planning :cool1:

Welcome-- you're going to have so much fun!

Are you staying on site? If so, then you're within your 60 day mark and can start booking Fastpass+ very soon; you'll want to get a handle on what you want.

(and, if you're staying off site, then keep an eye on the Disboards. There's always the possibility that off site people will be able to pre-book FP+; the system is new and in flux.)

Pick up a guidebook of some sort-- you really will want to have some sort of general plan of attack for each park. Otherwise, you may find that you spend far too much time waiting on line and miss some rides/attractions that you really would have enjoyed.

Some of my daughter's favorites:
Magic Kingdom: (we haven't seen the new Fantasyland yet): Peter Pan, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, Flying Carpets of Alladdin(NO idea why!!!), Monsters Laugh Floor, Big Thunder, Splash Mountain

Epcot: Soarin' , Test Track, Mission Space Green, Turtle Talk with Crush, Imagination, Spaceship Earth, Mexico, Norway

Animal Kingdom: Safari, Kali (you WILL get wet!), Festival of the Lion King (on Hiatus???), Finding Nemo, Dinosaur, Dino Dig site

Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania (FP or get there at rope drop!!!!!), Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Stunt Show.
