I noticed messages talking about Glow Sticks, Bracelets, etc. I have noticed this a couple of times. Could someone let me know what these are for? Is it for the kids to wear at the parades? Please let me know. I am in the dark (no pun intended)
Thanks
Nancy

Yes, it's for kids to wear after dark. The vendors sell them along the parade routes. They come in a variety of formats: from bracelets to wands. It's just cheaper to purchase them at a local dollar store (or order through oriental trading company, etc.) prior to the trip than in the Parks if that appeals to you. The "glow" will wear off after a few hours anyway. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

It is fun to wear at the Parades and at night at the parks. They are SOOOOO expensive in the parks. I bought some at the dollar store and some at Target in their dollar section by toys. It was worth bringing along and lots cheaper on my purse. Have fun. :cool1: :wizard:

I have seen them at Target in the party favor aisle and for a lot cheaper than the price in Disney. My sister was just in WDW in May and said she was so glad she purchased them before going down ::MinnieMo

They are also nice to have in the hotel rooms as a night light.

You can get them online at oriental trading co., too.

my mom uses them in her class room all the time when they turn out the lights (some of her K-first graders dont do the best in the dark) she uses them as a night light. She bought them down from disney and they were perfect for the parades (an 11yo-and 3 7 yos) it was very nice to have when my little cousins were whining about getting a glow stick--your kids will want them when they see how many have them. The big ones that spin and are battery powered are at the parks but you can find similar or the same ones at toys r us or kb toys and some times the dollar store and of course you can get anything at oriental trading post!! :earsgirl:
