There is not a kids club as in at WDW -- there are lots of kids activities and you will be given a listing of those when you check in. In the past, our children have participated in nature programs, kyaking, magic shows, campfires, painting projects (butterfly houses, bird houses, t-shirts) and many others which are escaping me at the moment. Our children's favorite activities are bike ride to and from the beach and crab fishing off the pier at the resort.
We have done the dolphin tour & beach combing tours every trip - sometimes both within the same week. Last I heard, Scott Henry was once again doing the tours for Disney. In the past, we've always had good experiences with lots of dolphins. Well worth the money spent.
We don't dine out a lot at HH, surprisingly we prefer to cook in our villa. We do enjoy the Salty Dog out on South Beach and the Old Oyster Factory.
Beach chair rental is available. We bring our own since it was a bit pricey to us to rent for a week $25/day??/$100/week?? I don't remember exactly what it was as it's been a couple of years since we rented them. There are a lot of stores to buy these things if you prefer (Wal-Mart, Target). We like the low beach chairs for sitting in the sand/surf. The kids like to bring some sand toys. Our older DS9 likes the wake board for playing the ocean.
Have a great trip. We'll be there in a couple of weeks.
