First trip to DLP ~ Question on best tickets to purchase

Bonjour~
Planning our first trip to France and we will be in Paris for a week. We are planning to go to DLP 1 day. Most likely July 13th. BUT, if weather is bad that day we could do July 14th or 15th.

I am not familiar with how the tickets work for DLP being "undated" or having to register. Could someone give me a little info on how this works and what you all think would be the best plan for us.

It is Summer holidays in the whole of Europe, people haven't been able to travel for 2 years, plus the 14th is the most important holiday of the year in France. It is going to be busy. Make a decision now before the park sells out.

It is Summer, so it will be hot. Rain all day in the Summer is rare.

If you want, buy a ticket without a date and make a park reservation when you know which date you want to go.

I would do either 13th or 15th in Disneyland Paris, and the 14th in the city, so you can see the fireworks for la fête national.

So if I buy an undated ticket, I would then need to make a reservation online at each of the parks for that day lets say July 13th. Is that correct?

Another question...If I have the undated ticket and make a reservation on line for the 13th and then want to switch to the 15th can I do that? Obviously that would probably depend on availability on the 15th but just wondering if that is allowed

Yes, you need to make a park reservation.
A park reservation can be cancelled and rebooked.

But again, I do advise to make a reservation for one of your days as soon as you have purchased your ticket. The last few weeks the park sold out on several days. I suspect the same will happen on the 14th for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened for the days around the 14th.

Karin has given you some good advice, I second what she says and make a reservation as soon as you have purchased the ticket, you dont want to miss out on being able to go.

Have a amazing time and remember studios closes earlier normally and really is a 1/2 day park.

To my knowledge, it's only after purchase. However, at the moment you should be good to make a reservation. The AP holders are not able yet to make reservations for July. We can make those 6 weeks in advance. So everyone who has a reservation has purchased tickets separately.
Hotel guests have guaranteed access without reservation.
