I'm currently lounging by the pool waiting for my massage time. These loungers are incredible, at least 6 inches thick and so comfy!

To say it was warm would be an understatement. If Pam wasn't here I wouldn't have gone to the parks and just continued to hide in my AC which I am still doing at 9:10PM!

Wow was it hot!

As you know now, the best laid plans..... But we made it work anyways!

Well I woke up at 6:45 too.....Hawaii time

This made me laugh out loud

By this point we had done more than I do at DL in a month. Thankfully we were enjoying a leisurely lunch.

We already needed a break by then! And oh what a break it was

I'll post a few pics on my PTR, but I took probably less than 10 pictures today. Though I plugged in my camera last night, it didn't charge and I had very little battery, so I only took a few pics. I figured Pam could tell our story since I already had three reports going!

It took me three hours to catch up in the journal. I didn't want to forget anything!

And this is from me, who can often be jaded about trips to DL since I get there so often. I haven't had a day like this in.....EVER!

I'm still on cloud 9!

I'm jealous that you have a massage tomorrow. I need one after today! I'm probably going to be packing and moving boxes tomorrow. Fran is enjoying her "salmon". Thanks!

I almost scheduled it for last night but didn't want to risk it if we ran late, so glad I didn't. I should have booked it for arrival day but got over there too late. I hope you don't have to work too hard.

P.s If you ride Jumpin' Jellyfish I want to know about it lol. I like the look of that. With my disabilities there aren't that many rides I can do but I think that looks ok. And fun...

It was great, but I would have paid simply to see Walt's apartment, the rest I didn't need it was just scorching yesterday. Hoping to ride both of those in a little bit.

A late lunch would work, absolutely. Whatever works for you guys. Depending on the crowds I might hit some rides in the morning but I'm just going to play that by ear. My only plan is to catch the 10:30 showing of Fantasmic, that should have the least problem with crowds.

I'm so glad you had such a fun day with Alison and I can't wait to read all about it!

I'll text you tomorrow morning when we take off. Hopefully we'll leave around 8:30am to plan for any Saturday LA traffic, which i'm sure there will be. We're hoping to be there around 12:30. I'll also text you when we're about 20 minutes from DTD too. So excited!

Yesterday, 9/5:

Well the highlight of yesterday was definitely seeing Walt's apartment, I didn't need the rest of the tour, it was a lot of walking and it was really really hot out. But being in the apartment was truly magical, and they gave us really cool tour exclusive pins. After the tour I had an hour before the park closed so hoofed it over to Fantasyland, did the Sleeping Beauty walk through, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, and Toad's, and then with ten minutes before closing really hoofed it over to Critter Country to do Winnie the Pooh. I was spent at that point was going to go to DCA for a ride or two but the lines into the park were halfway across the courtyard. I just went back to the resort and sat by the pool and enjoyed the hot tub.

My massage earlier yesterday really hit the spot. She worked all the tension out and I even got a DVC discount. They are really good here about asking about discounts.

So today the parks close at 10:00 so I'll probably do what I said I wouldn't and spend the whole day at the parks. We'll see, things could always change.

Absolutely! It's about a 3 hour drive from here to Disneyland with no traffic. Hopefully there won't be too much traffic/accidents tomorrow, which is why i'm thinking around 12:30 just to be safe.
