First trip to Disneyland...need advice!

Hi Everyone!

Just moved from the East Coast to the West Coast. Crazy move!

We are veterans at Disney World in Florida but do not know the first thing about Disneyland or how to plan a trip. So any tips would help!

We usually stay at a Disney resort at Disney World, get the magical express from the airport, take the shuttle to the parks, and have many wonderful meals. We always have an awesome time! I just can't get enough of the place!

So Disneyland is all new to us. So where should we stay? Do they have a shuttle service from the airport? Where to eat? Best time to go?

Do many questions! But I am so excited to visit the park!

I think ALL of HydroGuy's tips are amazing. Seriously. After you read the tips for WDW vets, click on his other links. We planned an amazing and EFFICIENT trip last year based largely on his tips and feedback from many other generous DIS'ers who shared advice. I also liked reading Trip Reports as they give you perspectives on different priorities and different park strategies.

Once you have narrowed down options, come back and post another thread. Folks here are fantastic!
