First trip to Disney as DVC owner

We bought last year (New Years Day 2007 actually) and we've stayed at Vero so far and loved it. We are going March 23-28 to OKW in a studio and then again in November 23-28 in a 2br (taking my mom and dad) at SSR, where we are owners.
I am trying to decide if we should get the AP's, it seems like in the long run we would save $$ with 2 trips in a year. We have 2 boys and that is where I am sure we'll spend a lot of time. They love everything at Disney World. Any suggestions? and are they still $370 and $326? Hubby wants to do the Richard Petty ride along, anyone done this? the cheap $99 one, not the all day one.
Next question, at OKW, what should we make sure to do? Like I said, we've never stayed anywhere on grounds except SOG, so besides Vero, we're new to this. Please let me know about activites and things to check out as a DVC'er. We loved the activites at Vero.

I would definitely get the APs and get the $100 discount on them. You will need your DVC ID plus gov. issued IDs for each of you to get the discount. Your Mom and Dad will not qualify for the AP discount unless you live in the same household. It is $348 for adults and $307 for children. You can also do this on the DVC website. They will mail you the vouchers which you then exchange for the real tickets when you first want to use them. They will be active for 365 days (in reality it's 366) from the date of first use.

DH did the Richard Petty Ride along a few years ago and LOVED it! He would have loved to do the driving one, but didn't want to spend that much time or money on it.

OKW is a great resort and feels much like a vacation home. Your kids will love the castle slide. Be sure to utilize the bus system. No matter where you are, you can take ANY bus from the nearest bus stop, and it will stop at the main desk area before it exits the resort.
