We are planning our first Universal trip this summer! It will be me, my DH, three sons (14, 11, 9), and 5 year old daughter. We plan on staying on site to get the express pass.

My DS(11), DD and myself are not roller coaster fans. Would three days be long enough to see everything, or would that be too long?

How does rider swap work at Universal? At Disney, we recieved a rider swap pass that was good for three people to ride. At Universal after you switch off, do you ride by yourself, or are you allowed to bring other members of your party with you?

We are just starting our planning, I am sure we will have many more questions. Thanks for your help!

Three days would be great. With baby swap, after you switch whoever wants to ride can ride again.

I think 3 days is great, that will give you 1 day at each park and then 1 day to go back and do your favorites again. Also, since it is summer and you are staying onsite it will give you some time to relax and enjoy the pools and city walk as well.

For rider swap, you go through the line as a group for most rides. At the end of the line you and the little one will head into a room and usually this is a nice air conditioned area with movies playing :) So at WWOHP on FJ you get to see the HP films.

Then after they get off you can go again and you can bring the kids back on again. The only one that limited us to a specific number was FJ and then it was just the one who waited plus 1.

We had a great time and now make sure to budget enough to stay onsite for all our trips there :)

I agree! :thumbsup2

Not too long........you will be able to do everything you want and still be able to enjoy some relaxing times at your resort hotel.

Have a great time :thumbsup2
