First Trip Planning Help!

Hi! I am new to the site and I was wondering if you could help me! We are planning to go to Disney next Feb for 7 days. There will be 6 of us and we plan to stay at POR. Will there be any discounts or upgrades offered at that time? Also does anyone worry about flying out of Buffalo in the middle of winter? Thanks! I'm sure I will have more questions coming but I am off to work!

Do not know of any discounts yet. Flying out of Buffalo in the winter can be iffy. But if you take your time and don't stress about the fact that you might be on a later flight than it is okay. We flew out this year on March 5th the day of the ice storm!!! Our friends flew out the following Saturday in the blizzard that gave us 18inches of snow!!(There flight was on time!!!!) I do not now how they do it but those planes fly out of buffalo in nearly anything Because of the price difference I am always willing to give mother nature a chance.

If you already know your dates and want to secure a room, I'd book it NOW with the CAA rate which is 20% off during VALUE SEASON (January 1-February 13th - this year) and IMHO the CHEAPEST time to go and less crowded.....

Also, there usually are discounts or deals on packages that time of year. According to Mousesavers.com's historical page, last years discount came out end of October (31st).

I think the discount for canadians came out october 16th but I'm not positive. I could check to be exact....check out the mousesavers site for historical data like that...

I know that we booked our trip for March 5-14th and then added the canadian discount. It's usually an upgrade to free park hoppers with waterparks and more. It saved us about 400.00.... not a necessity but a nice add on.
Also we flew air tran out of buffalo and got flights for 4 for under a thousand including all taxes....1/3 of the cost of toronto...definitely worth it.
Air tran direct flights leave at 3pm so it's lots of time to get there......sweet.
