NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL A THEME PARK!!!!!!!!!!
The turnstiles opened at 8:45am and went straight to Spiderman. What can I say??!! Logic tells you that its not real, you're not really in a cartoon!!!! But senses say something else!! Brilliant.
Straight to The Hulk! I rode first with Anthony, while Mat waited with Heather. The force of this ride at the start was exhilirating!!! Superb!!
Did Storm Force Acceleration with Heather while Mat and Anthony did the Hulk. Now Storm Force did make me queasy!!!!
Nobody else was brave enough to try Dr Doom with me!! So I went alone, and to be honest, found it a bit tame! But the boys didnt believe me, when I came off and told them to try it!!
Then onto the wet rides! And YES YOU GET WET!!
The Popeye Barges!! We couldnt believe how soaked you get!! Wet trainers for the rest of the day!
Ripsaw Falls!! Heather hated it, the drop was too big for her. And we werent aware that psychopaths hang about at the end of the ride ready to blast you with jets of water!! We got soaked!! Excellent!!
We LOVED the whole Jurassic Park area. The River Adventure was superb!! And no tears from Heather on this one!!
We rode both Fire and Ice on the Dragons. Queued for the front too!! These were Anthony's favourites!!
Dr Seuss Land was good for smaller kids, but we all had a laugh on the Cat In The Hat ride!
This whole park feels different from the others. Maybe its cos its a bit newer. You really notice the difference in the different lands.
And the smoking areas!!!! By far the best locations! Its as if whoever designed this park had smoking areas in mind, as opposed to finding little corners out of the way!!
Magic Kingdom is still my favourite park, but this one comes a very close second!!!

Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges is my most fave ride in the world, fantastic - glad you enjoyed it! A great day at IOA, it's one of my fave parks too.
