First Trip "Home" to BCV - Need Birthday and General Trip Ideas!

Hello all,

We are finally, finally, finally taking our first trip "home" to the BCV after owning for 1 1/2 years! Everyone is so excited. We can hardly contain ourselves! "Disney Dreaming" all day long! Anyway...

I need suggestions for my DS's 3rd birthday. We'll be celebrating while we're there - places to eat, things to do, ways to get him a little special treatment and surprises. He is really excited, and I want to make all the magic I can for him. He really deserves it.

I'd also love any suggestions in general to make this first trip home a special one for all of us - DH, DS #1 (age 3), DS #2 (age 1), and Gram. Good room requests, group activites, scheduling or ticket advice. You name it, I'll take it. I love to plan!

Don't forget while you are there, there will be a pre-opening of Soarin' the 15-17 for DVC and AP members.

You might also want to book a cruise, illuminations maybe, out of the marina. You can do add on's for that possibly for a birthday.

Also could call Boardwalk Bakery for a cake while there.

Most restaurants will do something if you let them know ahead.

Definitely let MS know to put a note on your reservation and remind the CM when you check in. Also look into the Walt Dinsey World Florist. They have way more than flowers - we got welcome baskets for our kids on our trip in October. DS (who is 3) got a signed 8x10 of Buzz and all kinds of goodies - he just loved it!
