This has been an absolute hoot, this getting ready to head south to OKW. We're driving, and have bought groceries for the trip (my thinking was, "Why spend valuable time at Disney shopping for food?")
So, for DW, DD, friend of DD (what a treat, traveling with 15-year-old blonde cheerleaders
) we're planning on a great trip and will stay in a 2BR. I bought breakfast stuff (I'm one of those get up early, whip up some bacon and eggs and biscuits and have it ready for everyone else kinda guys), plus sandwich fixin's, some pasta and sauce, salads, etc.
Lord, y'all. I filled up one of those rubbermaid storage bins with dry goods, and we have an eletric Igloo cooler stuffed so full you couldn't even get a grape in it now.
Clothes? DW and myself packed conservatively - got a washer if we need it, right? - but those girls packed like they were going on a transatlantic voyage.
It's all pretty funny. But, man ALIVE, have I ever been looking forward to this!
And, equally looking forward to our true trip home, to VWL, for Christmas. Yee-haaaa!

! Last year we went to WDW with friends. Their teenage daughter brought a friend. This friend's suitcase was larger than what her friend & friend's two parents brought!
