Hello! I've been planning for my first trip to Disney World (Oct 23-Nov 3rd), and after a bit of a disappointment at not getting any Free Dining Plans, today I was able to start booking my 180+10 reservations.

Since I'm going alone, and am not much of a big eater, plus from a South-American country so I'm shuddering to think of the costs, so far I've only booked myself a first night dinner at T-Rex Cafe for 9.30 pm, and a BOG breakfast for 8.05 am on the 25th.

Do you guys have any tips of places that wouldn't feel so expensive for someone going alone? Or something that just shouldn't be missed?

Thank you so much!

ETA: I've also made a reservation for BOG lunch at 1 pm on the same date. Would you think it's better to get an early start (Breakfast at 8 - is that considered early still?) or to sit down and have lunch so I can keep going later? It's supposed to be EMH that evening.

The nice thing about any of the restaurants in WDW is you do not have to order a full meal to enjoy the restaurant.
So if you go to BOG for breakfast you could just get one item, and a drink so that you are in and out early (I take it you want that early ADR for early park entrance)
Epcot has some amazing restaurants with fabulous snack items that won't break the bank.
If you're wanting the menu for lunch then it's a nice time to go, be in the air conditioning and take a beat. The beast will not be there at lunch and if you've already seen the beast's castle at breakfast, maybe you might want to plan somewhere else for lunch.
Do you have a touring plan? Maybe plan lunch near where you're going to be at that time. The beast's castle is pretty far back in Fantasyland.
Again, you do NOT have to order a full meal, an app and a drink are allowed. Also, a cup of water (not bottled) is free anywhere in WDW, you could have water with your meals to save quite a bit. It's always nice to get out of the sun and into some a/c.
Look up "snacks" at WDW, you'll find a plethora of choices, many that are meal sized and delicious.
Lunch and dinner are pretty much the same price and size at WDW now, so no saving by eating a full lunch and skimping on dinner.
Have a magical trip!
