This is our last full day now. Heather has been a bit weepy this morning. The "going-home" blues have hit her.

We arrived at MGM by about 9:30am. Again, this was a very different park to the others. I cant even compare it to US, it felt just a bit different.

Straight round to the Rock'n'Roller Coaster. EXCELLENT!!! We had a look at Tower of Terror. Now that does look scary!!

We had a really relaxing day here. Heather and I went off to do Voyage of The Little Mermaid. Again, the effort put into these shows is amazing.

When I looked at the times guide, I didnt really think we would fit everything in, but somehow it was easy. The boys didnt want to do Mermaid or Beauty & The Beast, so Heather and I went alone.

We all rode the Star Wars ride, which is very similar to the DLP one.

The Indiana Jones show was great and really funny.

We have to admit that we didnt think much of The Muppets 3D. When you compare it to Philharmagic! or Shrek, the Muppets one seemed fairly dull, and the 3D effects were nowhere near as good.

Then onto Tower of Terror! Anthony had already been on this with Mat, and he was terrified of doing it again! So I wondered quite how bad this ride is!!

Now remember I felt Dr Doom was a piece of cake?? Well I was really nervous queuing for TOT!! And that is not like me!!

I heard people in the queue talking about this ride as being the scariest in Orlando!!

When I sat in the lift, it concerned me that there was a serious lack of restraints!! Just a flimsy seat belt over my lap. And NOTHING to hold onto.

We were sitting at the front of the lift and when it dropped!! I left the seat and was terrified!! The doors open and you can see out over the park. Then it drops again. And again!!

ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!!!!!!!!! Wouldnt recommend small kids on this though. I couldnt believe the height restrictions were so low!!!

This was a good park, easily "doable" in a day. We felt we had seen and done everything we wanted to.

We didnt have a FDP, and I did not want to miss this for anything. So we hung around the entrance at about 5:30pm. As soon as they opened we got excellent seats in the middle near the front. Once we were settled, it was easy for us to leave the seats at different times to get drinks, food and cigarette breaks!!

Although we had to sit for around an hour and a half we didnt mind, as it was nice to just relax. I saw the sections for the FDP, and felt our seats were much better.

Fantasmic started at 7:30pm. Now this is a show!!!!

I cant describe it. Its just fantastic. It made me so choked, it has to be the best show we had seen.

And it was great that this was our last evening. What a way to end our fantasic holiday.

We got back to the QII late, with Heather crying as its "our going home day tomorrow".

The kids went straight off to sleep, while Mat and I packed. We hadnt taken an extra suitcase as we hadnt planned on Anthony buying a giant Shamu!! How were we going to fit it all in!!!!

Somehow we complete it all, but its 1am in the morning now and we crash out!!

We love MGM too, we seem to spend a lot of time in this park coming and going it is so easy to walk to from the Boardwalk :)

A great day at MGM, I felt I was there with you Lorraine. This is DH's favourite park by far and away :)

Poor Heather :(

A wonderful day at MGM. I love this park, it's wonderful. I too love the Little Mermaid show and Beauty and the Beast. I'm too chicken to try Rock n Rollercoaster or Tower of Terror, altho I have this strange notion of wanting to try the Tower - dunno why lol. Poor Heather being sad about leaving :( That's normally me on our last days!
