I've been going to WDW with at least an experienced parent/guardian to guide me. However, I'll be 17 soon and as a birthday present, this summer my best friend (18) wants to take me, as she has just gotten a settlement and wants to spend it on Disney! Thing is, we're scared of getting lost and such! I asked my mom to come but she doesn't think she can afford it this year so we're on our own. We will be staying in one of the value resorts (not sure which one yet, most likely Pop Century, Music or Movies). Does anyone have any advice on not getting lost etc? I've been to WDW just last year with my grandparent and the last time she went she was too young to remember, so any advice would be great! Thank you!

The bus stops at all the resorts have signs for each park and when you get off the bus the driver will tell you which stop to be at to go back to your resort. When you get into the park, there is always a map at almost right at the entrance. Grab one and you should be o.k. Stick with Disney transportation, all the bus stops have very visible signs and the cast members are always very helpful.

I agree. As long as you stick with Disney transportation, you should be fine. Have a great time!

I don't think that you need to worry about getting lost. You have been there before and even if you think that you weren't paying attention to where you were, you would be surprised at how much you will remember. Don't be afraid to explore. There will always be someone around to give you help and directions to where you want to go. WDW is pretty much an enclosed area especially if you are using Disney transportation. Have fun!!!

I just realized that this is my 500th post!!!

As mentioned above, stick with Disney transportation. We drive to some of the parks and the signs are someties not too clear. The parks clearly identify which buses go to the different resorts and the buses identify the park they are heading to. You'll get a resort map when you check in that will identify the bus location(s). Each park has free maps as you enter. There are numerous sites that have maps that you can look at before you go.

Cast members are good sources if you have questions.
