First trip as DVC members

After waiting what seemed an eternity we finally closed on our resale at BWV. We're very excited, as we managed to get 7 nights at SSR in a 1BR villa arriving tomorrow. We're using 2009 banked points that we didn't want to lose. We've already scheduled a studio for F&W in Oct. and a 1BR std. for Jan. trips at BWV. We waitlisted Boardwalk view for Oct. bc only garden/pool view was available. Would like some opinions as to whether or not we should get our hopes up for the waitlist to come through.

Congrats! How lucky that you leave tomorrow. We have to wait 10 more days. I don't know if your wait list will come through, but we had a garden view studio last year and asked for the village green year. The view was fantastic. The balcony was enormous and looked out over the middle green section between the BW and BWV. We could see Epcot BC across the lake. Loved it! So even if your wait list doesn't come through, you should request the village green section and you will also have a great view. Good luck.

Congratulations! Have fun on your trips. Our first DVC stay is not until Oct, and I can hardly wait. I'm also trying to figure out when the next trip after that will be. To me, the planning is a lot of fun. I can't wait until I can afford to add on, so I can plan even more!!

Thanks for the tip. We'll request Villiage Green if we still have garden/pool view.

I agree that planning is half the fun.
My first impresion of MS is pretty darn good so far. I have seen them flamed on the boards before, but I felt that I got great service and as a first timer lots of help.

But.......ths DIS rocks as far as information.
I'm sure that's what pushed us over the edge to buy DVC.

We're leaving a little later today. It's about 1000 mile drive from home.
