First trip as a single mom.....

OK this will be my first trip as a single mom to the world.It will be myself and my 4...almost 5 year old son. Every previous trip we have gone as a family. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Still trying to figure out how to handle everything solo!

As a fellow single parent of boys, I have taken many trips with both or one at a time at various ages. My first solo trip with my one son was about the same age as you.
Are you staying on property? How long? Is this your son's first trip? Are you on a tight budget or is there wiggle room for some fun activities and some character dining?

We will be staying for 5 days at Port Orleans. I have saved so we will have plenty to do any extras. It is not his first trip......we have season passes so he goes twice a year. ( Lucky kid) I guess I am the most anxious about meal time.

Do you have Dp? I don't know if he has had many character meals, but, let him pick the one he would like. I would think dinner TS would be best, that way after dinner you can go back to resort or DTD to do something special. Since he has been there several times, it's hard for us to direct you Enjoy the special time.
