Taxi collected us at 7:30am, as we have an 8:30am PS at Donalds Breakfastosaurus.
Now - food-wise, this was by far the best character breakfast we have tried. It was buffet-style and there were LOADS to chose from.
We met Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and of course Donald. The interaction was obviously not as good as the princesses but the kids loved it - and so did we!!
We had an excellent photo package done, and it was a great way to start the day.
Straight onto the Safari ride, which was wicked. Saw lots of animals, although Heather pointed out that "Simba was fast asleep"!!!!!!
We all loved this park, this is coming a close second now to MK, but we didnt really feel we could take it all in, with an earlier closing time than the other parks. And we had to fit in Tarzan Rocks and Festival of the Lion King - both of which were SUPERB and have to be done!!
One word of warning though - Primeval Whirl. Cant believe we hadnt been warned about this ride! We all came off battered and bruised, Heather crying, Anthony laughing asking if we could do it all again!! Now I am a big fan of thrill rides, but this was not funny!! Would never ride it again.
Loved the Dinosaur! ride though. Did make us all jump!!
I wish this park had stayed open just a little bit longer, to really take it all in. We didnt get a chance to study The Tree of Life properly. But it all had a wonderful feel, and anyone thinking of skipping this park - think again. Its great there. I cant understand those saying this is a "half day" park. IT ISNT!! If you want to see EVERYTHING, and still take in the relaxing nature of this park, then two days is a must.
At closing we had a PS at the Rainforest Cafe at 5:15pm. We had a lovely meal, and the atmosphere here is fantastic. And the cocktails!!!! Wow!!! Glad we had PS though, the queue was huge even after 6pm!!
Back to the QII for an easy, lazy evening. Had a browse through some of the gift shops on I Drive.
