For years I have been begging to go to WDW. Now it looks as if this is becoming a reality (i.e., husband got new banshee, I get coveted trip to WDW)!!!!!!! :yay: Since we already have our annual trip to DLand planned, it looks like we'll only be able to afford to send me. I'm not really hesitant to be at WDW alone (eating, getting around, lodging, etc.). But what worries me the most is getting around the airports and such since I haven't flown since 1991 (I know, deprived child) and I've never gone alone. :scared1: I'm flying from Pasco, WA to Salt Lake City and catching a connecting flight on Delta to MCO. I have to connect flights at Salt Lake in less than an hour. :sad2: Anyone had trouble with Delta making connecting flights? What other advice for traveling the friendly skies (and solo trips to WDW) do you have? The dates I'll be traveling will be September 19 -26th. Thank you for all your help!!!:worship:

You are going to have SO MUCH FUN!!!! It is a great time to be going to the world with the Food and Wine Festival starting at Epcot while you are there. They set up booths from around the world and sell sample sized food and drinks from all the different countries. It is not to be missed!

I have never flown Delta, so I can't really help with your connecting flight question, but I have recently flown alone and I recommend bringing a good book. Maybe an old favorite of yours that you know you like to make the time pass in the airport and on the flight. Maybe some earplugs if crying babies annoy you (they do me..lol) or some headphones for background music.

Don't forget about the new security restrictions, any liquid or gels you want to have in your carry on must be 3 ounces or less and fit in a quart size ziplock baggie. You need to remove the baggie from your carry-on before going through the metal detector.

Any questions or anything, feel free to ask!!! Happy planning!!
