Hi,
We will be traveling to the Fort for the first time in Nov....the week before Thanksgiving. We love camping in our travel trailer. We will be bringing our own golf cart. We have a 7yr old and 4 yr old.
Will the pool be warm enough to enjoy in late november?
Also we are def doing the chip and dale cookout in the campground.... I am trying to find a princess breakfast with all the princessess but I cant....any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!.... Also where is the cheapest place to buy tickets to the park? Thanks for any info!!!

Not dure bout the P.Breakfast (someone else will havta help)
but that time of year at the Fort is generally very nice and can swim in the pools. The pools are heated when it's cooler out, so you could still swim.
Keep in mind however, it is Nov. in Florida, so there is always that chance of cold or cool snaps.

And WELCOME to the camping boards !!

We were at the Fort for Thanksgiving 2009 and we had a wet first half of the week (rain) followed by a chilly second half (but clear). Pools are heated but it took a little time to get used to the temps (still felt cold to me).

AAA has discounts on theme park tickets but only the multi-day (can't remember if it's 4-day or 7-day minimum). My local chapter does not offer every flavor of tickets (hopper, with water park, etc) but the tickets that they DO offer are discounted somewhat. Do you already belong to AAA?

There are also slight discounts with the reputable on-line vendors. The DIS here is connected with the Official Ticket Center and they offer a slight discount. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tickets.htm#tickettypes.

You would be hard pressed to find discounts greater than what these two offer. Disney tweaks room rates all over the place, offers free dining sometimes, but rarely do they mess with ticket prices (other than raising them annually).

Side note,,if ya can't swim, the fishing tends to be pretty good,:thumbsup2

I think there's a princess breakfast at Epcot in Norway. May be one in Cinderella castle as well. I have boys, so princesses have never been high on our priority list. :confused3

Can't comment on the pool thing. I'm a Florida girl....too cold for me to swim in November. :goodvibes

There are indeed two princess breakfasts...one in Norway at Epcot and one at the Castle in MK. Neither have all the princesses. The ADRS go fast for both I would try get a reservations today. Cinderella's Royal table also does a lunch and diner. Check out the dining forum here on DIS for the details.

I dress my girls up at cindrella, SW and Sleeping bty and we head to IHOP. it's really cost effective. The wife dresses up as fairy goodmother and tells all the kids, the princ. have been out late and can't make it......

Royal table in MK is good place and Aucker haus in Epcot. Crystal palace on corner is great buffet for whole family pooh and friends.

As far as meals with the princesses, the only ones I know of are:
Cinderella's Royal Table:
Lunch-all the princesses
Breakfast- Snow White, Cinderella and Fairy Godmother, and Aurora.
Dinner-Snow White, Cinderella and Fairy Godmother, Belle, and Aurora.

Restaurant Akerhaus in Norway (EPCOT) has a princess breakfast

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has dinner with Cinderella and crew

Maybe you could book a very early lunch at Cinderella's Royal table- the first slot the have in the day and just have a light breakfast (danish or fruit) to tide you over until then?

Any chance you or someone you know qualifies for a military discount? If you are going the week before Thanksgiving vice the week of Thanksgiving those discounts should be available.

Akershus in Norway at Epcot is a good bet for a princess meal if you can't get Cinderella's Royal Table at the MK. We've done both and we liked both, with the understanding that atmosphere at Royal Table in MK was nicer.

As for swimming, we usually go mid-november and we've had temps in the high 80's and temps in the low 60's. However, we've managed to get in a little swimming no matter what. Just go during the hottest time of the day and since, as others have mentioned, the pools are heated, you can manage to have a pretty good time even if it isn't real hot out.
